Our History

Concerned Citizens of Allegany County is a community watchdog organization that formed during the early ’90s when our region was threatened by a low level nuclear waste dump.  Together with the citizens of Allegany County and other organizations, we were successful in defeating this threat to our public health, safety and way of life.
